  Dear Green Frog Families,

Fall is finally here. Pretty soon the weather will be turning colder and the next thing you know it will be Christmas! Speaking of which we start singing Christmas songs at the end of the month so don’t be surprised if you start hearing those songs from your child.

During September we learned the “Number One” song and the “Cindy Circle” song, and of course our favorite the “Red song” This month we will be learning the “Orange Song”, Suzie Square, and the Number Two song. Stay tuned to a preschooler near you.

Our themes for October will be: pets, safety, and fall fun. Our letter focus will be on lower case letters: c, e, s, and f; we will also review: a, o, d, and g. (writing and recognizing)

One activity you can do at home or when you’re in the car is to review letters with them, this can be done on letters on signs, buildings, on license plates, trucks, etc. The more we can do now together the more successful your child will be when it’s time to start reading.

Our trip to Curtis Orchard was a blast! The best part was jumping in the hay. Jenna’s mom is going to get pictures for us and we’ll put them in the hallway for everyone to see.
In service to Christ and our families,
