MIssions
We at Prince of Peace focus our mission in three ways: locally, nationally and globally. Continue below to learn how our mission efforts make a difference around the world, and how you can be a part of making change for Christ.
LOCAL MISSIONS
Every year we support 10 local ministries within Champaign County. From feeding ministries to re-entry programs for the incarcerated, our impact in the community is multiplied through these ministry partners.
GLOBAL MISSIONS
We have supported for many years Jonathan and Carrie Federwitz who work with Lutheran Bible Translators. They are currently assigned state-side in support of international mission.
We have recently become a Member Congregation of Malawi Orphan Care Project, Inc., partnering with Kanyenyeva Ministries in Malawi. Direct fund raising and traveling with mission teams supports our efforts among the poorest children of the world.
NATIONAL MISSIONS
Our Youth connect every summer with Work Camp opportunities coordinated by Group Mission Trips. We support Group with our time, abilities and money every year.
